AFTER SCHOOL PAINTING WORKSHOP 1st-cycle
This season “Penelope’s” welcomes our little friends to a highly entertaining drawing handpainting workshop. It is addressed to all the “little big artists” aged 5-11 years old who want to explore their artistic side through exercises and games, and it is designed to train a specific creative or artistic skill. Everyone can be an artist and it is certain that using only their hands, their brains and a few basic tools, each one of us, but especially children, can become great artists, overcome obstacles, develop skills, sharpen their perception and acquire creative hobbies.
GOALS
The aim of the workshop is to teach children the art of observation as well as to practice drawing and colour schemes. Our “little big artists” will learn about different artists and art styles, and will use different types of art media each time. By learning about the great painters, children are exposed to stimuli of the cultural elements of each era. The workshop will evolve with the teaching of interactive and creative painting, and aims not only to entertain but also stimulate children’s interest, thereby making painting a pleasurable and interesting activity!
