My name is Penelope Mela and I am a dreamer.

I always follow my dreams and pursue my passions with my heart and soul. During this particular pandemic time, I have decided to look at the bright side of things: I want to put my creativity at the service of people by offering them an artistic center with vintage flavor.

I decided to open a new concept store because my idea is to create sensory experiences to explore vintage style through a variety of stimuli: material products and artistic group activities. Penelope’s is not just a store, but a place where art and culture come together to inspire people. The watcgword: less shopping, more socializing!

In my artistic mind, “vintage” is the style that can inspire people to better themselves much more than any other, thanks to its educational value: Vintage has something to do with recycling and has historical roots that are well represented. Vintage represents culture, society, art and craft.

Lifestyle, fashion, manifacturing methods and habits from earlier historical eras are as glamorous as a numbered old wine, as precious and made by a good “vintage”. Vintage does not just mean wearing an old outfit, it means writing a letter with a calligraphy pen or listening to a song from a record.
